Safety begins before the project starts.  Safety turnover meetings are held prior to the start of the project with the Operations Manager, Project Manager, Foreman and Safety Director to review company safety policies, requirements, project safety and all known site specific safety issues that need to be addressed.  Foremen and Project Managers inspect their jobsite weekly for safety compliance.  Safety issues of concern are then shared with the General Contractor, Company Safety Director and our employees at the weekly safety meeting.  The Safety Director performs regular jobsite safety audits, as warranted; attends General Contractor onsite safety meetings as required; determines employee training needs based on jobsite hazard analysis; and conducts onsite safety training as needed.  Greiner Electric’s Safety Committee, consisting of field and office personnel and a rotating foreman and apprentice, meet monthly to discuss safety issues, as well as methods to continually improve the programs.

Greiner Electric employees actively participate in the onsite safety process which is evident by General Contractor recognition and association awards.
