Greiner Electric is currently hiring a Safety Specialist, the ideal candidate must have the following training:  

OSHA Safety & Health Specialist – Construction and/or Construction Health & Safety Technician – CHST

Experience working in construction helpful.

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

Facilitate:

• Weekly new hire orientations and drug testing
• Investigation of jobsite near-miss incidents
• Monthly field safety committee meetings
• On site safety meetings and customer safety job walks
• Jobsite safety audits, violation resolution, hazard identification, and recommendations

Assist:

• Development of annual safety budgets & goals
• Updating and development of company safety manuals and policies
• Reviewing of weekly jobsite safety paperwork
• Incorporating new safety requirements and regulations
• Development of weekly safety talks/bulletins
• Provide guidance, training and share best practices

Applicants must support field supervisors in solving complex safety issues both on and off the jobsite
